How did you get the name Deezy?

I got it in the hood.

What got you into making music, and taking it serious as a profession?

I come from a musical background so music was always a part of me.

What gave you your start in the music business?

A couple of homies basically came together and we formed our own label called "Metal Mouth."

How did you link up with 454 Entertainment?

I met the big homie when he was starting the company through a mutual friend and we've been rockin' ever since.

There was a massive outdoor marketing campaign for the album "As Real As It Gets", which involved billboards, bus stops, bus billboards, what was it like being seen all over the Bay Area in such large light?

It was dope.

Who did you work with on the "As Real As It Gets" album, who was featured on the album, and who produced it?

I worked with Thai, IZ and Nump Trump. The album featured Band-Aide of the Hoodstarz, Thai Viet G, Glasses Malone, Matt Blaque, Traxamillion, Bobby V., Lazro, Goldie, E-40, Freeway, Suryil, Raw Smoove, Nipsey Hussle, Roscoe Umali, Ver5e and Michelle Martinez. It was produced by Traxamillion and DJ Slim. Beats by 454 Productions, Traxamillion, Sunny Beats, Wonju, D-1, Duy Daoski, Raw Smoove, Jedi & cuts by DJ Zo and Hanna Kim.

Tell us about your newest release, the "Connected" album? Who's on it, what can we expect?

The Connected album features artists including E-40, Jackie Chain, Thai, Philthy Rich, Bigg Seff, Band-Aide, The Jacka, Willie Joe, Bigg Seff, Mitchy Slick, Billy Blue, Erk Tha Jerk, Big Rich, Husalah, Nio Tha Gift and The Hoodstarz. Expect the best from some of the Bay's best artists. Show some love and buy the album if you haven't already.

What was it like working with Poe Boy Music artist Billy Blue, I see in the last issue of All Bay Music you were out in LA with him for the BET Awards?

He's a dope artist.

What was it like working with Glasses Malone?

It was a good experience for me.

Any recent travels, or rap ventures you have in the works that the public should know about?

I just wrapped up my next street tape. I also just got back from NYC working with Christion Dior and Fred The Godson. I got a few projects in the works right now. Follow me on Facebook and Twitter to see what's coming next.
