Throughout his life Lee Marc Ferguson has been in pursuit of the knowledge, understanding and application of music in all of its forms. At the tender age of eight the guidance and direction of his father, Glen Ferguson, led him to take up classical piano before moving on to the bass guitar aged ten. The musical influences of the Ferguson family are grounded in gospel music, as such the Pentecostal church setting immediately became a forum in which Lee could hone and develop his skills alongside young musicians from similar backgrounds.
Lee’s growing passion for music and instruments led him to study and train at music school for ten years whilst simultaneously maintaining a keen commitment to his mandatory academic pursuits. Whilst the skills attained during this time were fundamental, Lee recognises that a musician never truly stops learning and expanding the knowledge of their craft and this ethos remains evident in his actions today.
