San Francisco, CA’s newest hot hip hop prospect YNRSBreez0 comes with a memorable 11 track EP “The Perfect Storm”, and he doesn’t disappoint.
In the first track “Better Days” he gets on a smooth Sacramento inspired instrumental, in the song he says “Rain Rain Go Away, please come back another day”, reflective to putting his bad days behind him, and him praying to god for “Better Days”. The song is a positive track.
The album shows YNRSBreez0 is a artist that cannot be labeled as just a rapper. In track two of the album “One Day”, he shows that singing is apart of the listening experience of vibing to a YNRSBreez0 track. The song reflects on his loss from dead homies, and YNRSBreez0 wears his heart on his sleeve, and his emotions run through his songwriting.
One would wonder what it would be like to he rich, and YNRSBreez0 lets us know what he would do if he made it in his next track “I Wonder”, and this song marinates to all the hard workers praying for a game changer.
Our favorite track “On Me”, comes with crazy lyrics rapping about having that “Pole On Me”, and the song is a total vibe for all them gunslingers out there. He stays in pocket to the beat and his melodies captivate the experience. The song is a total movie!
Overall the entire album is filled with reality raps, a nice mix of singing and rapping, and thoughtful lyrics that represent a well rounded listening experience.
The Perfect Storm isn’t just a nice representation for a young San Francisco artist by the name of YNRSBreez0, this album is another reason why Hip Hop fans can’t sleep on San Francisco’s untapped hip hop talent.
