Bay Area artist and San Jose Native Niko Torres drops a 12 track debut project “The Stick Up”. The first start of the project’s intro “Get Dumb”, has a metal like introduction and the sound is a very cryptic like sound indeed. The next track “White Spic” is a title that is very politically incorrect and he talks about being a mix artist, pretty dope!
His fearless delivery shows in the third track “Levitate”, featuring Detroit Dino. He manifests on the track about getting signed by Yeezy, and his inner Marshall Mathers speaks volumes on the track. The song “Shootah”, he spreads a message that you should point aim at the killers, and not the shooters. Very super dope lyrical track.
In fact if you wanna talk about lyrical, lets say this project has a depth to it that one could say this project could go somewhere with some high end music videos being shot. In all, the 408 has a dope new artist on the rise, and the Hip Hop hemisphere should not sleep on the fresh new talent.
