Hayward, CA artist Lil Slugg makes a monumental play for his new album “Florida Dreams”, and inks a deal with Equity Distribution, the digital distribution company founded by Jay Z’s Rocnation. Lil Slugg’s first release under the new digital distribution company comes the same day the company redistributes Jay Z’s classic Reasonable Doubt album.
The 12 track project is all fire with a limited amount of features. The track “Convicted Felon”, which was debuted by Thizzler.com features a dope guest appearance from Sacramento Heavyweight rapper Mozzy. The track is all gas, and Lil Slugg reminisces about life in and out of the pen, and how he had to hustle to get everything he’s got.
His new song and video “Big Guns” featuring San Jose, CA artist Easy is another dope track to check out, produced by MMMonthebeat. Speaking of MMMonthebeat, make sure to also catch another single on the album he produced titled “What’s Poppin”. The track is a ode to the streets and talks about the trials Lil Slugg’s been going through as of recently.
From start to finish, Lil Slugg continues to not disappoint his fans, we waited awhile for Florida Dreams, and it was well worth it.
