Elujay – Jentrify

Elujay

Elujay releases a heavy hitting project that is his love letter to Oakland.  He started presenting this project to listeners through the singles “Soulfood”, “Flagrant”, and “One Time”.  These singles all had an impact on fans and new listeners as they started to pick up on Elu’s musicality and unique vibes.  Elujay presents a twisted message behind his project by using the title, “Jentrify” to encompass his project.  Jentrify is a variation of the word Gentrify, which stems from the word gentrification, a word describing the iradication of lower class residents and small businesses from cities resulting from a spike in property value stemming from big businesses.  The Album art portrays the message loud and clear and you can hear his message through the songs on the album.  The features include bay area talent Samaria, Caleborate, Jay Ant, Rexxliferaj, YMTK, Waymond, Wax Roof, Drew Banga, and many more.  Check out the album and go follow Elujay for more updates.
