Shill Macc
INTERVIEW BY @EUROPEANIAN
BM: What happened in your life that led to being a musician? Shill Mace: I come from a family full of music
lovers, heavy into soul and rap. My big brother had a rap group when I was young and would show me alot of
the latest music, I instantly knew what I wanted to do..it was just in me. ABM: How did you get your start in
rap? Shill Mace: I made a name for myself in my city by battling older rappers at a far younger age, I then
would record and sell tapes of my music in the 9th grade. I ended up on a "real" cd real early on and it was clear, I was
really making music. This eventually led me to hook up wit AP9 of the Mob Figaz, and my name buzzed harder from
that point on. ABM: Where are you from and what was it like growing up there? Shill Macc: Im from Fairfield CA, and
growing up in Fairfield for me was like, you had all the opportunities to do good in school in sports, but outside of that
not much options. As a small city that was getting progressively worse in my teens, the distractions were there, and they
got the best of me, I ended up in the streets doing street shit. ABM: What do you rap about? Shill Mace: I rap about
personal experiences mostly, but I like to money motivate in my raps with crafty bars and dope delivery, I want my shi
to be what you slap on your way to go get the money, but at the same time say to yourself "that boi goin”. I like r
bars, not that simple shit. ABM: What are your last projects released? Shill Macc: “Thumbin The Thousands”, “!
City Alumni”, Demolition Men Volume 10 with AP9, Shootfast 1, 2, and 3, and so much more! Just check me out on
iTunes. ABM: What project are you currently working on? Shill Macc: "Rap Posters On The Wall" is what Im pumping
right now, I love this project some of my favorite work, also got album with Rydah J Klyde dropping next. ABM: What is
your last video release? Shill Macc: My latest video is a song called “Hope I Dont”, I released on youtube and Worldstar,
it got a great response and Im still trying to bring more awareness to it, I feel its a big record and so do my fans. ABM:
What is your ultimate goal? Shill Mace: To build my core fanbase, and use what platforms I build to expand into differ-
ent business ventures. ABM: Any business ideas and ventures planned? Shill Macc: Yes, right now Im working on a
boxing gym, a cologne, and a clothing line. ABM: whats the most impactful artist that has influenced you and why? Shi
Mace: When I really think about it its not one artist, its the whole culture I was inspired by, theres to many to name
from all coast and regions. ABM: Where can people find you? Shill Macc: You can reach me on wwwshillmacc.com for
