West Vallejo Tunes is a rap group based outta Vallejo, CA. They
have been consistant with eo quality street music through
their music label, Bay Recon Ent.

BM: What is your Rap group name? Tell us the story behind your hip-hop group? West Vallejo Tunes: We are

West Vallejo Tunes.. A group that was started as more of an outlet for some of us instead of getting killed or

going to jail. Flaco was in jail. Silent had just got out of jail. Serio was the one that that got Rhino and Yogi

‘Together and we became WVT. We put on for our section and for the people that can relate to our lifestyles, Its
always deeper than rap for us and its always gonna be that way. ABM: What made you guys get into a rap group? West
Vallejo Tunes: We didn’t have anybody reppin for us in the bay, so we became our own voice. ABM: How many artists are
in your group, and what are their stage names? West Vallejo Tunes: There is 5 artists, we are Serio, Flaco, Silent, Yogi &
Rhino. ABM: How did you get your start in the hip hop scene? West Vallejo Tunes: It was probably when we put out “Put
that on the Dub” That shook up the city and set the tone for what was to come. Nobody had done what we were doing.
That’s when the music got serious for us and we began to make our mark in the rap game. ABM: Where are you from,
and what was it like growing up there? West Vallejo Tunes: We're from Vallejo. West Vallejo to be exact. The home of
Mac Dre & E40. It was crazy growing up here cause it was never a time we been irrelevant. Our city go hard! And still do.
We trend setters. ABM: What do you typically rap about? We rap about what we go through in life. The good bad & ugly
Our rap story tell it all we really live this lifestyle. That’s why we go hard on every song we drop. ABM: What are your last
full length releases people can go check out right now? West Vallejo Tunes: We got West Vallejo Tunes Vol 1, 2 and 3
Silent has 2 solo projects. “Keep The Real Around Me” and “What It’s Like” Yogi also has a solo project “G.R 1” Serio
& Flakz have a project together called “Power Moves” We definitely building up our catalog. ABM: What are you current-
ly working on? West Vallejo Tunes: We working on “the Other Side” A project that everyone from our label “Bay Recon”
will be on. That will be distributed through Hi Power ent. Should be one of our biggest projects to date. ABM:
