Drake releases the track list as we near the release of his Nothing Was The Same album on September 24th. Drake’s last studio album was Take Care, which was released on November 15th in 2011 with Young Money Entertainment.
Drake has confidence in his new album Nothing Was The Same and expressed that he felt that this album achieves all the things he left out of his last album Take Care. In an interview with MTV News he said, “The music that I’m making is more concise, more clear, and I’ve been able to get my thoughts a lot better on this album. Take Care is a great album, but I listened to it and realized where I could do better and I think I’ve done better on this album.”. Drake also went on about how he will “Never do a straight rap album” touching on his signature slower songs that reveal his melodic skills. The only features on his album that we know of so far are Jay Z and Detail as well as rumors of his dad getting on a track on the deluxe version.
