2017 was a strong year for Oakland born, Los Angeles based artist / producer Derek Pope. After touring with Sage The Gemini & SOB x RBE on The West For The Winter Tour, Derek finished the end of ’17 generating his first million + streams on Spotify with two records (“Raincoats” over 2 million streams, “Serena Williams” over a million) and a string of consistent loosies.
Wanting to start 2018 fresh, the Pope is back with his biggest project to date: 10 brand new self-produced tracks, with the only feature being Larry June because we “gotta stay healthy”.
