We’ve got some new material from the Bay vet, as he’s come through with “Gamed Up,” featuring Oakland’s Rayven Justice. The track will appear on 40’s newly announced EP, Poverty and Prosperity, which will be out this Friday, November 20.
“Gamed Up” is a catchy club record that should immediately get hot in the Bay. The Rick Rock production adds a little hyphy influence to the popular DJ Mustard-inspired club sound, and 40 lends his signature blend of OG wisdom and humorous antics.
Check back with us on Friday for Poverty and Prosperity.
Quotable Lyrics
The money ain’t new to me, I’m a staple
Seasoned like a mothafucka, basil
I respect my OGs, look up to them like a father
They stay movin’ mean up in the pen, they shot callers
