Deck the halls and hark the herald angels, Black Santa returns to bring bushels of holiday cheer for the 2017 season. On December 1st, Black Santa comes to Oakland for a day of charitable Christmas cheer. Presented by former NBA All-Star Baron Davis and Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch, join Black Santa for a Toy Drive in the afternoon, located at Marshawn’s Beast Mode store in East Oakland, and a Christmas Tree lighting in the city’s Jack London Square in the evening.
Featuring appearances from celebrities and elected officials, with opportunities for photos with Baron Davis, Black Santa, and Mrs. C., the Black Santa tree lighting day will benefit community organizations such as The East Oakland Collective, EOYDC, FAM 1st Family Foundation, and Serenity House. Stop by for photos with Santa, the Toy Drive, Christmas Tree giveaways, a fundraiser with Black Santa merchandise, and more!
