Attracting dozens of Hip-Hop’s biggest names for a nonstop weekend of great music, Rolling Loud is the biggest festival brand in rap. After three successful years in Miami, Rolling Loud announced its global expansion earlier this month with the announcement of Rolling Loud Bay Area on October 21st and 22ndat the Shoreline Festival Grounds in Mountain View, California. Within 24 hours of tickets going on sale on August 22nd, the festival sold 10,000 tickets. The festival has sold out over 50% of the venue after the first week of sales. A hugely successful early sales period for a young festival, Rolling Loud‘s massive early sales are a testament to the impressive lineup, headlined by Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and Schoolboy Q, as well as the strong word of mouth generated by the three Miami festivals.
Boasting a long and diverse list of popping emcees, from youthful superstars like Lil Uzi Vert, and Kodak Black, to underground kings like Isaiah Rashad, Curren$y, and Denzel Curry, to 2017 XXL Freshmen like XXXTentacion, Ugly God, PNB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Playboi Carti and Bay Area stalwarts Nef the Pharaoh, Rexx Life Raj, Philthy Rich, and Marty Grimes, the Bay Area installment of Rolling Loud is the first in a series of six Rolling Loud-branded festivals and experiences held around the globe, including a stop in Southern California in December. In 2018, the festival will travel to China, Japan, and the United Kingdom with offshoot festivals and events (dates yet to be announced,) and will culminate in the fourth annual Rolling Loud Festival in Miami in May 2018.
