Multi-Platinum and Grammy Nominated Oakland Rap Duo “The Luniz” are back to work on their 4th studio album!
The Luniz, who famously made the Multi-Platinum selling Hip-Hop classic “I Got 5 On It”, as well as multi-platinum selling album “Operation Stackola”, have reunited this month after Luniz member Numskull was released from prison after serving a 7 year prison sentence.
Some of the “well known gossip blogs” made wrongful claims that Numskull was convicted of rape after finding the altercation stemmed from a domestic dispute, but Numskull served the bulk of his time for the possession of a firearm, and those “allegations” were never charges that were brought against him from the beginning of the case, and were apparent attacks to defame his character. His lawyer feels he was treated unfairly due to his popular standing in the HipHop community.
None the less he is out of jail, and he has reunited with his other half of the Luniz, group member “Yukmouth” this month. Since they have linked back up they have been hard at work in the studio, and a single is on its way titled “Still”, which was produced from the production duo “Tha Mekanix”.
